No matter how sustainable a piece of clothing is, if it doesn’t get worn and loved, it’s just waste. In addition to ensuring great products, we minimize inventory waste by starting with small batches and on-demand manufacturing. The LimeLife by Alcone x SXD collaboration includes a limited quantity of three top voted Zero Waste Designs—Zero Waste Top, Shacket, and Jacket.
ZERO WASTE ACROSS SIZES
For the first time, starting with this collaboration, we have systematized Zero Waste Designs to work across sizes. Given the existing fabric width, every size’s pattern is uniquely zero fabric waste from XS to 4XL.
CONTINUING TO SUPPORT CLIMATE REFUGEES
For this collaboration, we traveled to Bangladesh and worked alongside our climate refugee seamstresses. One seamstress Juleka called the Zero Waste Designs “smart and beautiful.” We are excited to bring these products to life while continuing to support climate refugees with 4x the local wage.
